Seahorse Farm House
This Cape Cod house is nestled in the village of Upper Kingsburg on a 1.5 acre site. Built in 1754, it is the oldest dwelling in the area. A 6-minute walk down a picturesque path beside the house leads to Hirtle's Beach, a 2 km sandy beach on the Atlantic Ocean. The front of the house faces the ocean and barn of Seahorse Farm - home to three gentle chestnut horses. The back of the house overlooks a 1-acre orchard pasture.
The house underwent extensive renovations in 2016. There are three bedrooms. A queen-sized adjustable Tempur-Pedic bed and large flat screen Sony Smart TV in the main bedroom, and a double bed in each of the smaller bedrooms. There are two full bathrooms (upstairs and downstairs). Linens and duvets are hotel quality. The kitchen is fully equipped with European appliances, including a Bosch dishwasher and Miele stovetop. The massive brick fireplace in the living room is original (1750's) and has a large granite mantelpiece.
