Located in Margaree Forks, Cape Breton, where the Northeast and Southwest Margaree Rivers meet at McKinnon’s Mountain, The Farm at Margaree is situated in one of Nova Scotia’s most memorable places, with a rich natural and cultural history. This development is driven by the ethic of stewardship and cultivation of this cultural landscape.

The farm encompasses four ecologies: Mountain, Farm, River, and Ocean. The ‘Farm’ is located just above the public road, providing music, food, and cultural experiences. This will serve as the operational base for the development, at the point where the mountain meets the alluvial valley floor. The 'Mountain' will be developed as a Wellness Spa, offering a retreat with dramatic views down the three river valleys and out to the Gulf of St. Lawrence. At the 'River' will be a small cabins for salmon fishing and kayaking, which are sensitively tucked into a “golden grove” of forest. The ‘Ocean’, downstream on the coast, will provide access to the warm Gulf of St. Lawrence and marine excursions.
