Miranda Bailey

Miranda Bailey was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She studied at the University of New Brunswick and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering. Through the co-op program at UNB, Miranda quickly moved into the workforce gaining valuable project management experience working with larger companies like Enbridge Gas and ADI. In 2010, Miranda went back to school to study architecture at Dalhousie University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies in 2012 and a Master of Architecture in 2014. During her education at Dalhousie, she studied abroad for a semester in Scotland at Strathclyde University. Miranda has been with MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects since graduating from Dalhousie and is currently a Senior Associate. Since 2018 she has co-led two free-lab courses at the University of Dalhousie. She currently instructs a professional practice course for the Master of Architecture students at Dalhousie and has lectured during the professional practice week since 2020.
